The Warehouse/Production Supervisor Role - 1st Shift at Komatsu ensures products and parts are delivered on time to customers (both internal and external.). This Role will work with (but not limited to) Inspectors, Receiving Clerks, CDL Drivers, Warehouse Coordinators, Consolidation Clerks, Truckers, etc. This Warehouse/Production Supervisor Role could be located initially at the Komatsu National Avenue location and then the New Komatsu South Harbor Facility in Milwaukee, WI.
Warehouse/Production Supervisor - 1st Shift at the Komatsu Facility in Milwaukee, WI.
- Manage the storerooms or transportation function including parts and deliveries to internal and external customers.
- Support customer deliveries for repair orders and original equipment or sub-contract orders.
- Ensure all company safety and quality plans and procedures are adhered to.
- Maintain materials/parts flow from receiving dock to storerooms or customer orders in accordance with requirements. Maintain inventory accuracy, both dollars and quantity at requirements.
- Works independently and has some knowledge of manufacturing processes, safety in product design, and serviceability. Can check safety and manufacturability but may also go to more Senior Group Leaders with any questions.
- The Production Supervisor may also have responsibility for some project management, continuous improvement activities, and department budgets. This includes prioritization of schedules and manning. The Production Supervisor may also be responsible for some planning over multiple areas and has a high level of technical expertise.

- Associate Degree or equivalent relevant work experience
- Minimum 3 years warehouse supervisory experience and/or 5+ years' experience within a warehouse environment.
- CPIM Certification or other "logistics" certifications (APICS etc.) is a preference.
- Previous Union Manufacturing or Warehouse experience is a plus.
- Ability to work at the Komatsu Facility in Milwaukee, WI.
