McLeod Warehouse is offering Forklift Operator position in Decatur, Illinois. Our employees receive weekly paychecks and health benefits. This is a full-time position, and we are looking for you to join our team immediately!

Job Responsibilities:

• Operate a sit-down forklift and stand-up forklift, equipped with forks.
• Position works in an air-conditioned space.
• Load and unload finished product in semi-trailers.
• Fulfill orders which require relabeling and stacking cases up to 50 lbs.
• Ensure correct product, quantities are received and shipped to the correct customer (On-time; First time).
• Work in a safe manner and obey all safety guidelines.
• Maintain clean warehouse environment – experience in food warehouse helps.
• Perform any other duties as assigned.

Job Qualifications: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or abilities required.

Education, Skills and Experience:

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED).
• A minimum of 6 moths experience operating a forklift is required; 1 year of experience preferred.
• Must demonstrate the ability to work well independently and as part of a team.
• Must demonstrate the ability to manage multiple tasks.

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to operate a variety of equipment
• Frequent kneeling, bending, climbing as needed to maintain the warehouse
• Ability to work with heights and in varying environments, including hot, cold, dusty and in the presence of exhaust fumes, etc.
• Ability to travel between indoor and outdoor settings
• Ability to wear proper safety gear/PPE as needed
• Frequent lifting of up to 50 lbs.
• Must pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $18.00 per hour
