Warehouse Worker
The Warehouse Worker must be able to maintain production and distribution of product by pulling orders from inventory; delivering production materials and supplies; staging finished product for shipping; moving and organizing inventory as needed; operating machinery to move items. Other duties may be assigned.
Specific Duties and Responsibilities:
- Must have forklift, inventory, and shipping/receiving experience.
- Maintains inventory by identifying, labeling, and placing materials and supplies in stock, recording location of inventory.
- Able to lift and maneuver packages of a minimum of 50 lbs. using appropriate equipment and/or assistance from another person.
- Locates materials and supplies by pulling and verifying materials and supplies listed on production orders.
- Maintains in-process inventory at work centers by delivering and opening materials and supplies.
- Documents materials and supplies disposition by recording units delivered and location of units.
- Prepares finished stock for shipment by identifying, pulling, packing, crating, loading, and securing product.
- Documents product shipment by recording units shipped.
- Maintains material-handling equipment by completing pre-use inspections, making operator repairs.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications Required for this Position:
Education – no minimum education requirements.
Experience – 2 years’ experience in an Industrial setting preferred.
Must pass drug screen and background check, as condition of employment.
