Vivid HR Consulting has been retained by a global corporation to conduct a high-priority search for a Warehouse Team Lead in the Baytown, TX area.
The Warehouse Team Lead plays an important role in helping the team achieve success every day. They will help oversee warehouse operations, coordinate the effort and energies of staff, handle products in shipping/receiving, be a voice for safety, a mentor and model to employees and be a trusted support system. It's important that this person have previous Distribution Center/Warehouse experience.

This role reports directly to the Warehouse Manager and plays a pivotal role in coordinating and leading daily operations.
What You'll Do:
- Inspire and Mentor: Provide leadership and training to our dedicated Warehouse Team.
- Safety First: Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies, fostering a safe and secure workplace environment.
- Efficiency Expert: Assign tasks, monitor performance, and oversee various aspects of customer service, inventory management, and documentation.
- Accuracy Advocate: Sign for deliveries, conduct quality checks, and inspect incoming/outgoing shipments, maintaining meticulous records and reporting any discrepancies.
Desired Skills and Qualifications:
- Experience Matters: 1 to 2 years' experience in warehousing preferred.
- Education: High School Diploma or equivalent.
- 2-3 years of Distribution Center/Warehouse experience

Compensation:
This is an HOURLY position at $21.00/hr and working a standard 38-40-hour workweek. This role is Monday to Friday from 7:30am - 4pm.
