Job Summary

The Warehouse Supervisor will be responsible supervising a warehouse team ensuring customer orders are shipped correctly and in a timely manner. They will also work closely with our Customer Service, Logistics, and Fabrication departments to provide a high level of Customer Service. This position is based in Tulsa, OK and reports directly to the Supply Chain Manager.

Essential Job Functions

• Supervise a Shipping, Receiving and Warehouse team to provide a high level of customer service
• Ensure customer orders are shipped correctly and in a timely manner maintaining a high level of quality and accuracy in our shipping & receiving
• Maintain an accurate, organized, safe and clean warehouse & shipping operation
• Assist Supply Chain Manager in the implementation of warehouse layout and process improvements
• Communicate and coordinate with the Order department on customer requirements, priorities and delivery of customer orders.
• Coordinate special customer requirements for shipping and labeling, receipt and put-away of stock in a timely manner, receipt/handling of returned goods and daily cycle counts
• Coordinate and work with selected carriers to best serve our customers
• Coordinate & ship approved material requisitions
• Cost conscience ordering of consumables and packaging materials, monitoring expenditures; identifying variances and managing cost savings initiatives.
• Supervise and train team on receiving inspections of goods from outside suppliers.
• Coordinate the kitting and basic assembly tasks via Shop Orders and pick lists
• Other shipping/receiving and supervisory tasks as needed

Requirements

• Possess working knowledge of supply chain, logistics concepts and business procedures relating to shipping, receiving and warehouse functions with a focus on customer service.
• Personnel & project supervision skills and experience
• Good organizational and follow-through skills
• Ability to meet deadlines and work well under pressure
• Detail-oriented, positive attitude & willing to learn new skills
• Experience with excel spreadsheets, word processing and inventory application(s).
• Good communication and mathematical skills
• Basic knowledge of straightforward physical and mechanical concepts
