RESPONSIBILITIES

• Strong Communication skills
• Ability to readandinterpretdocumentssuchas safety rules, operating andmaintenanceinstructions,andproceduremanuals in English
• Ability to write routine reports and correspondence
• Ability to add,subtract, multiply and divide in all units to measure, using whole numbers,commonfractions,anddecimals
• Ability to compute rate, ratio, andpercent and to draw andinterpret bar graphs
• Operatewithin standardoperatingprocedures (SOPs) and OSHA safety standards
• Verify and package product for shipping (shrinkwrapping, boxing, labeling)
• Stage product for loading
• Unloadmaterials from truck
• Move materials to warehouse for storage
• Responsiblefor quality control.  No damaged product shipped; no damaged product received.
• OperatePoweredIndustrialTrucks(PIT).  Stand up, reach truck, order pickerand sit-down propane forklift
• Complete daily logs for PIT
• Cleanand maintain workareas
• Other duties asassigned

QUALIFICATIONS

• College degree with 2 years or more related experience and/or training
• Equivalentcombination of educationandexperience
• Basicreading, writing and arithmetic skills required
• PITproficiency;reach truck, orderpicker,“sit down” propane.  Currentcertification a plus
• Manual dexterity required for operating machinery and handling small parts
• Ability to lift up to 30 pounds

ENVIRONMENT

• Longandvaried hours required occasionally
• Ability to work mandatoryphysical inventory
• Ability to work in extreme hot or cold environment
• Ability to work in dusty conditions

In 1990, Crawford Electric Supply opened its first store in Dallas, TX and began a tradition of excellence. Within five years of opening, the store was ranked #1 in the twin city market.
