SalaryThis position is responsible for overseeing, developing, and coaching a team within the Byhalia Distribution Center. The successful candidate will make recommendations and implement improvements to processes, methods, and controls in the department. This position is second shift typically working from 11am - 8pm CST Monday - Friday.
Quadient Byhalia Distribution Center is located just south of Collierville, TN.
Essential Duties/Responsibilities
Supervise, schedule, train, coach, and discipline direct reports
Ensure efficiency within department
Ensure compliance with all applicable regulations, i.e., USPS, OSHA
Maintain quality instructions in our document control system
Establish and improve upon workflows to ensure capacity exceeds demand
Work with Distribution Manager to develop department budgets and forecasts
Produce productivity reports and department KPIs
Crosstrain and provide backup support to other warehouse departments
Maintain effective vendor relationships and negotiations
Complete other duties as assigned
Required Skills & Experience
HS diploma/GED required
5 years minimum experience warehouse operations
3 years of supervisory experience
Knowledgeable in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Power Point
Familiarity with P&L, budgeting, and forecasting
Must be able to manage multiple projects
Must be detail and customer oriented
Must have good communication and problem solving skills
Ability to maintain a neat, clean, and safe work environment
This position has a salary range of:
$75,500.00 - $113,300.00Quadient, Inc. has standard ranges for all U.S. - based roles, based on function, level, and scope, which are benchmarked against companies of similar size and growth-stage. To provide greater transparency to candidates, we share these targets on all job postings. Final salary offers are determined by multiple factors, which may include (but are not limited to) geographic location and candidate experience and expertise. As such, they may vary from the ranges listed.
