Produce Associate

Paul's Fruit Market Inc. has been a Louisville tradition since 1945. We are a family owned and operated gourmet grocery store specializing in the finest produce, deli, floral, and gourmet selections available. We are currently looking for a person experienced in produce and floral to join our team.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Seeks opportunities to welcome, engage, serve and thank customers.
• Maintains an atmosphere of friendly, enthusiastic customer service with an emphasis of taking care of the customer.
• Ensuring proper pricing and signage of products.
• Answers questions on floral products and bedding plants
• Weekend availability is highly desired
• Opportunity to take on additional hours during peak season
• Access to reliable transportation
• Effective communication skills
• Floral knowledge preferred

Work Environment/Physical Demands

• Candidate must be able to bend, pull and lift 40 lbs. consistently throughout the course of a work day

• Continuous interaction with customers and co-workers in a fast paced environment.

Compensation

• Full Benefits including 401k and Health Insurance
• Pay is based upon experience

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $15.00 - $18.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
