Warehouse Supervisor

BluePointControls is a technology-based manufacturing company providing controls and user interface solutions to Global Markets including Semiconductor, Medical and General Industrial. We are offering a full-time opportunity and are looking for a motivated individual who can work in a fast-paced environment and can do the following.

Primary Job Responsibilities of Warehouse Manager include:

· Manage companies’ primary warehouse.

· Responsible for maintenance and operation of company vehicle, providing both preventative maintenance, vehicle cleanliness and communicating all necessary repairs to management.

· Train and manage the warehouse team to solve day-to-day operational equipment issues and reach short- and long-term performance goals.

· Manage the stock levels of boxes, foam, and crates and help to create min/max quantities to meet production teams build schedules.

· Monitor work and ensure the safe use of warehouse equipment. Establish warehouse practices and protocols to achieve an efficient warehouse.

· Coordinating timely daily kitting activities to track location and movement to the production floor to ensure production teams build schedule is met.

· Assisting with packaging and shipping products. Transporting products to and from the company for deliveries and pick-ups.

· Reporting shortages of consumable supplies that need to be ordered.

· Collaborate with peers to maintain safety, organization/cleanliness of the building and to ensure business goals are met.

· Provide exceptional customer service with customers and vendors.

· Help with miscellaneous tasks and projects assigned by the VP of Operations.

· Host a weekly team meeting and bi-weekly one on ones.

· Work with VP of Operations to manage weekly priority schedules.

· Record daily deliveries and shipments to reconcile inventory.

· Report stock levels or issues that may arise to upper management.

· Develop a process to optimize inventory control and receiving of raw materials to maintain a 99.9% accuracy level.

· Learning how to navigate MRP/SAP system.

· Learning of products and materials that makeup the products.

Qualifications:

· Can multi-task on many projects

· Manages a team of up to two Material Handlers

· Proven experience as an inventory manager or similar position

· Working knowledge of inventory management software, SAP a plus

· Excellent organizational and planning skills.

· A bachelor’s degree or equivalent preferred with 5 or more years’ experience working in a warehouse.

· Be very organized and good with scheduling

· Proficiency in use of Microsoft Office suite of applications

· Exceptional communication skills; both verbal and written, and interpersonal abilities.

· Reliable and trustworthy

· Relevant qualifications, APICS is a plus

· Stand and move for longer periods of time and lift heavy materials (up to 40 lbs.)

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $64,000.00 - $68,640.00 per year
