Responsibilities include: 1) Oversee the daily operations of the departments to ensure that they are operated efficiently, with adequate resources to fulfill order requirements and meet quality and food safety standards 2) Provide leadership to the Warehouse Team with respect to performance management, scheduling, employee relations, awareness of business context and profitability as well as training and development of staff members 3) Assist in the delivery of the team's goals and objectives by establishing clearly defined quality methods for staff members to apply 4) Monitor employee compliance to policies, procedures and organizational structure for the shipping, receiving, inventory control and quality departments within the framework of corporate expectations 5) Oversee departments' safe working environments 6) Adhere to SOPs and the shipping and receiving schedule for the departments 7)) Maintain and review shipping and receiving, inventory and quality control records 8) Comply with the company's policies and procedures 9) Perform other duties as assigned Critical Requirements 1) Appropriate full-time work experience is mandatory (no students or fresh graduates please) 2) Recent experience in the produce industry is strongly preferred 3) Preference will be given to candidates with recent experience in warehouse supervision This role is ideal for a qualified, energetic individual who possesses great attention to detail.
