Warehouse Operations Supervisor
2nd Shift- Eagan, MN
The Warehouse Operations Supervisor is responsible for protecting and maintaining our commitment to the highest levels of customer satisfaction.The Supervisor works both independently and as part of a team to reach our customer satisfaction goals. The Supervisor is responsible for servicing multiple customer accounts by receiving, stocking or pulling orders as requested as well as scheduling and directing workflow of the hourly employees within the accounts. Activities include responding to customer inquiries via e-mail and phone and handling customer complaints and questions in a prompt, courteous and effective manner.
salary: $55,000 - $60,000 per year
shift: Second
work hours: 2 PM - 10:30 PM
education: High School
Responsibilities
- Builds and maintains strong, long-lasting customer relationships
- Directs the work flow process of material handlers for customer accounts
- Coordinates with customer service personnel and Director of Operations to
- determine shipping schedules and labor requirements
- Ensures that all customer’s compliance and timeline requirements are met
- Utilizes customer computer systems as required
- Primary contact for door assignments to maintain efficient flow of driver traffic
- Efficiently loads and unloads freight to/ from staging and storage areas safely
- Pulls and prepares product for shipment, ensuring the correct number and type
of product is loaded - Performs picking duties in an efficient manner that meets both customer and
company standards - Ships, receives, loads, unloads, moves, stacks and stages products and materials
using a fork lift, clamp truck, electric or manual pallet jack and/or other power equipment, as needed - Operates equipment in a safe and efficient manner following defined work
methods and procedures. - Assists Director of Operations in overseeing activities in one or more accounts
- Contacts company vendors to arrange services
- Coaches and assists in the training of material handlers on the proper execution
- of warehouse duties to ensure policies and procedures are followed
- Supports all initiatives and safety policies to ensure a safe work environment which has been designed to meet OSHA requirements
