Job Details:
Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with company
policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.
Shift:
* 1st shift- Onsite Supervisor - $70 - $80k
Hours: Monday - Friday 5am - 3pm (Flexibility is key)
Responsibilities:
- Customer service focus and driven individual that has a sense of urgency.
- Welcome all new hires and set up for success with training and support.
- Job will support a local warehouse to conduct check-in's, walking floor, relationship building, using office space, phones, walkie, and responding to needs of staff.
- Responsible for relationship building with staff and client.
- Good communication skills required.
- Experience in MS Office including Word and Excel, good typing and emailing skills as well.
- Supervise staff throughout the shift.
- Manage shift reports and communication.
- Develop and implement procedures that optimize warehouse time and efficiencies.
- Ensure local and global KPI targets are being met
Qualifications:
- Detail oriented with effective communications skills, both written and verbal.
- Demonstrated ability to effectively lead others
- Previous warehousing/logistics experience
- Computer proficient. Above average MS Word/Excel skills
