Hours: 8am to 5:30pm

Job Description

Supervise the operation and responsibilities of the warehouse team and designated facility. Work with Operations leadership to make certain company and customer standards of service, quality, safety, and productivity are met.

KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Supervise, train, provide performance feedback and assign duties of direct reports to ensure productivity, efficiency, and effectiveness
• Manage operational procedures to include the incoming and outgoing shipments, handle the organization of material, and maintain warehouse inventory
• Plan production schedules and resource allocation for completion of job assignments while keeping time and production records
• Track and send reports to designated plant personnel
• Answer customer incoming calls and respond to customer inquiries
• Set appointments with shippers and consignees for site/residential deliveries
• Communicate shipment information with customers (online, phone, email)
• Update data in company system with shipment notes and status
• Order entry, freight bill entry, freight bill printing for local shipments, regional, including returns
• Tracing and tracking of shipments.
• Audit and compare data entered with bill of lading.
• Review/Audit Proof of Delivery documents, and scan into imaging
• Accurately index scanned images
• Proactively communicate service delays with customers using Hot Sheet Appointment Routine
• Other duties as assigned

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS (KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, ABILITIES)

• 6 months warehouse or logistics leadership experience
• Flooring industry experience
• Strong conflict management skills
• Must be able to lift a minimum of 50 lbs.
• Ability to work a swing shift - 6pm to 6am

BEGINNING SALARY RANGE

$46,800 -$52,000, depending on experience

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $46,800.00 - $52,000.00 per year
