Our Inventory Associate is responsible for keeping track of goods and supplies within the workplace. Their primary duties include:
1. Ordering inventory and forecasting: Collaborating with vendors and suppliers to order inventory items and ensuring timely shipment arrival. Forecasting the amount of material needed.
2. Stock Management: Stocking and cataloging products, ensuring they are accurately stored and organized within the business.
3. Quality Checks: Performing quality checks on stored inventory and discarding items that do not meet the company's standards.
4. Inventory Records: Updating inventory counts and maintaining accurate records to share with management and stakeholders.
5. Loss Prevention: Implanting loss prevention programs to prevent theft and reporting discrepancies in inventory.
6. Cost Comparison: Obtaining estimates and price details from different vendors to compare costs.
7. Product Research: Researching the accuracy of product details and testing new products.
Qualifications
- Education: High School Diploma or GED
- Experience: 6 months or more
- Working conditions: The role involves standing, walking, bending, stooping, twisting, reaching, and kneeling.
