JOB SUMMARY
We are looking for a reliable and experienced Warehouse Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing inventory in the warehouse, driving a box truck, operating a stand-up forklift, and loading and unloading containers. The candidate should have a strong attention to detail, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to work independently.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS/DUTIES
- Operates a truck that transports cargo to and from specified destinations.
- Receives and provides appropriate documentation for the delivery or pick up of goods to ensure timely service.
- Shrink wraps pallets, ensures truck loads are secure for transit and unload cargo.
- Maintains telephone contact with Shipping Lead to receive delivery or pick up instructions or to receive notice of changes in scheduled delivery or pick up.
- Maintains logs of travel and cargo according to federal and state regulations.
- Performs daily vehicle inspections and fills out inspection sheets.
- Organize warehouse for incoming freight
- Process incoming and outgoing containers
- Inspect incoming shipments to ensure they meet quality standards
- Keep records of warehouse inventory levels and product locations
- Maintain a safe work environment by following OSHA guidelines for lifting heavy objects, wearing protective equipment, or using safety equipment such as forklifts
- Stock shelves with new products or remove old products for sale or disposal

QUALIFICATIONS
- High school level education or equivalent.
- Experience driving a box truck, preferred.
- Requires a non-CDL.
- Must provide a clean driving record.
- Requires ability to follow clear directions.
- Sit down and stand up forklift experience preferred.
- Excellent attendance and punctuality is required.
- Strong customer service and communication skills.
- Ability to lift up to 50lbs with or without accommodations.
