Accounts Receivable Clerk

Position: Accounts Receivable Clerk

We are seeking a qualified Accounts Receivable specialist to offer assistance to the AR department. The role also involves handling credit applications for new customers and managing travel arrangements for the sales team. Accounts Receivable responsibilities include ensuring the smooth and accurate functioning of operations, processing and tracking incoming payments, and guaranteeing revenue by verifying and recording receipts.

Essential Functions & Responsibilities:

• Process credit applications for new customers.

• Book travel accommodation for the sales team.

• Process accounts and incoming payments in compliance with financial policies and procedures.

• Perform daily financial transactions, including verifying, classifying, computing, posting, and recording Accounts Receivable data.

• Prepare bills, invoices, and bank deposits.

• Reconcile the Accounts Receivable ledger to ensure that all payments are accounted for and properly posted.

• Verify discrepancies and resolve clients’ billing issues.

• Facilitate payment of invoices due by sending bill reminders and contacting clients.

• Generate financial statements and reports detailing Accounts Receivable status.

Skills & Abilities:

• Proven working experience as an Accounts Receivable Clerk, Accounts Receivable manager, or accountant.
• Solid understanding of basic accounting principles, fair credit practices, and collection regulations
• Proven ability to calculate, post, and manage accounting figures and financial records.
• Data entry skills along with a knack for numbers
• Hands-on experience in operating Excel spreadsheets and SAP
• Proficiency in English, both verbal and written
• Customer service orientation and negotiation skills
• High degree of accuracy and attention to detail
• A BS degree in Finance, Accounting, or Business Administration is preferred.

Office Hours:

Monday – Friday, 8:00 am – 4:30 pm

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $18.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
