SUMMARY
The Shipping Clerk will be responsible for working on a variety of different tasks in a warehouse environment. The individual must be able to adapt to a fast-paced and changing production environment, the ability to access business needs and take quick action to resolve issues.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUCTIONS
- Receiving and issuing items correctly in Epicor ERP system and keeping up with all paperwork required.
- Thorough understanding of the business processes and shipment procedures.
- Managing assigned workload and adapt to reprioritization as necessary, with a proven track record of effectively handling multiple projects simultaneously.
- Identifying and resolving gaps in the business processes.
- Manage pack warehouse inventory and establish Kanban systems.
- Improve shipping processes to ensure efficiency and effectivity.
- Facilitate shipments utilizing UPS / FedEx / 3rd party logistics software.
- Prepare and issue purchase orders and change notices.
- Must comply (or adhere) to the rules and regulations mandated under ISO 9000, AS9100, ITAR and ISO 14001.
- Must be able to communicate and work well with other employees.
Ability to pass an annual eye exam.
Receiving Clerk will be responsible for working on a variety of different tasks in a warehouse environment. The individual must be able to adapt to a fast-paced and changing production environment. Organized and attentive to detail plus the ability to perform basic calculations and above average aptitude for identifying defects is a MUST.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS • Receiving and issuing items correctly in ERP system and keeping up with all paperwork required. • Review Purchase Order and Supplier requirements, confirm and accept supplier receipts for compliance with documentation requirements. • Scan and save records from vendor into web-based database. • Weekly cycle counts with inventory adjustments as required. • Maintain tidy and organized stock room inventory. • Work with Purchasing to resolve receiving issues and obtain any missing information or needed corrections on any production or raw material receipts. • Required to be fork lift certified. • Cross trained in Shipping department as primary back-up. • Assist quality with receiving inspection for high volume product. • Managing assigned workload and adapt to reprioritization as necessary, with a proven track record of effectively handling multiple projects simultaneously. • Excellent time management skills and attention to detail is a MUST for this position. • Must comply (or adhere) to the rules and regulations mandated under ISO 9000, AS 9100, ITAR, and ISO 14001. • Ability to pass an annual Eye Exam per QP400.
