Warehouse Receiving Supervisor

The high-level goals of this position are to ensure that the Sanger, TX facility provides excellent customer service to our customers while also staying at or under budget for labor, equipment, warehouse supplies, etc. to ensure profitability and that we reach our goals.

Summary:

The Warehouse Receiving Supervisor is responsible for maintaining a clean and organized warehouse, being a steward of 5S and lean philosophies and processes implemented, and ensuring careful and accurate unloading, receiving, and storage of all products inbound to the warehouse. The inbound processes drive the success or failure of all downstream processes and directly affect customer service levels, so this position is required to ensure all item issues are resolved and all products are labeled/clarified before product is put away to storage. This will ensure all customer shipments will be accurate, clean, undamaged, and in excellent condition.

Essential Job Functions:

• Supervise the receiving of incoming product, recording (scanning and system input), staging, storage and retrieval of product in proper locations
• Supervise, coach, counsel, develop and discipline warehouse staff
• Support all warehouse activities in support of a product / case / item pick and pack operation
• Set up all downstream processes for success by resolving issues for all items before product is put away to storage
• Review, analyze and implement process, policies and procedures

• Ensure accurate and timely shipments and receipts of product
• Assign duties and monitor quantity and quality of work
• Maintain strict inventory control and monitor areas for continuous improvement
• Develop and reinforce culture of safety
• Complete other assignments as assigned by the Distribution Center Manager

Education, credentials, and experience:

• Associate Degree in business, supply chain or other related course of study preferred.
• A minimum of two years of supervisory experience, preferably in a distribution center environment. Proficient using Excel, Word, Outlook.
• Familiarity with RF Scanners and a distribution center environment.
• Forklift Experience
• Experience handling/shipping HAZMAT material

Other:

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $19.40 - $26.44 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
