We are currently looking for full-time positive and outgoing Quality Control Associates, who are passionate about food and a commitment to quality, to join our team, located about 30 minutes outside of Philadelphia.

Refrigerated Warehouse- (-9º - 42º Fahrenheit)
Schedule: (Available Open Opportunities)
1st Shift Tuesday- Saturday 6:00 to 2:30 pm (Weekends Required)
1st Shift Sunday-Thursday 6 am to 2:30 pm (Weekends Required)
Pay: Starting from $17.50 (based on level of experience)

The employee may be required to perform other task(s) in multiple areas of the facility.The Quality Control Associate is responsible for observing established food safety and quality assurance functions as assigned by the Quality Department in support of our commitment to our customers and of our Mission Statement.
Responsibilities:
- Ensure all Quality Control SOPs, SSOPs and GMPs for our production center is being followed by other team members.
- Follow basic food safety practices, both preventative and responsive as instructed by Leadership Team.
- Assess risk and categorizing it according to likelihood and severity.
- Create and conduct process audits, inspection criteria and procedures.
- Ability to give oral presentations on training materials in a group setting.
- Engaged in inspection and testing activities to ensure high quality in products and throughout the production cycle.
- Document and maintain Quality Control standards and on-going Quality Control objectives.
- Implement inspection criteria and procedures.
- Interpret Quality Control philosophy to key personnel within company.
- Apply total quality management tools and approaches to analytical and reporting processes.
- Provide support in all areas related to lab and testing of products for Quality Control purposes.
Who you are and why you're right for us:
- Demonstrate experience in quality assurance or Quality Control environment in a food production facility.
- Working knowledge of USDA and FDA food regulations preferred.
- Ability to plan and prioritize workload
- Ability to read and follow written and/or verbal instructions accurately in English
- Attention to detail, accuracy, thoroughness, and flexibility required
- Strong computer skills and basic math skills and with a minimum passing score of 80% on both tests.
- Ability to be flexible and adapt to changing priorities and deadlines
- Must uphold and follow workplace safety, food safety, and production quality standards
- Ability to work in high stress/fast-paced environment with multiple change-over’s
- Must be willing and able to work a variety of shifts and overtime as required; even on short notice
- Ability to work independently, with minimal supervision, in group settings, be flexible and adapt to changing priorities and deadlines
