Job Summary
The Warehouse Quality Associate is responsible for the check-in validation of all incoming loads to the Warehouse.
Job Responsibilities
- Responsible for inbound and outbound inventory matches.
- Ensures each load for accuracy at check in.
- Visually inspects all incoming vehicles by entering each truck.
- Maintains all required documentation for record management.
- Enters inventory data into handheld.
- Maintains bin integrity in mass storage.
Physical Requirements
- Speaking: Constantly (investigates, negotiates, recommends, reports, etc.)
- Acute Vision: Constantly (observing both near and far, reading documents)
- Mobility: Frequent travel throughout Heartland Facility (Walking in warehouse)
- Bending/Squatting: Constantly (picking up product, moving product)
- Lifting: Frequent- Lift 50 lbs. or less (full cases of product)
- Able to be certified on manual and powered pallet jacks or forklifts
- Ability to work in a warehouse environment where temperatures vary with the seasons
Job Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED preferred.
- Minimum of one year of work experience.
- Prior experience in warehouse, inventory or auditing preferred.
- Ability to work under minimal supervision.
- Prior experience using pallet jack or forklift preferred. Ability to obtain certification upon hire is required.
- Basic computer application and technology skills; knowledge of how to operate a smart phone and/or laptop.
