Jasper Engines & Transmissions is seeking a qualified individual to help lead a small team at our Houston location.
 
The branch/Warehouse Operations Manager is responsible for the daily business of a small distribution center, including management of inventory, distribution of product, and customer service. Approximately 80% of the manager's time will be involved in Warehouse Operations, and about 20% of the time may consist of product delivery. Driver experience preferred but not required.

The position has a competitive wage with the opportunity to earn more money through audit and net profit bonuses. The position may require a up to 45-hours per work week, Monday through Friday, with the possibility of additional time required for travel and as projects necessitate. Typical shifts are between 5-9 hours per day. 

What you'll need:

• Knowledge in Excel, Outlook, Teams and other software programs.
• Strong communication skills are needed for constant support to drivers, outside sales reps and customers.
• Ability to perform on their own and be well organized, task-oriented and detail-oriented.
• Basic understanding of accounting and management skills are helpful.
• Willingness to be a back-up in time of absence of delivery drivers and the skill to drive a 20-foot to 24-foot box truck with a lift gate and carry a DOT medical card.
• Ability to drive a forklift (training provided).
