Summary:

Position is responsible for the daily inventory management of all tools, parts and materials pertaining to the install, repair and construction activities within the region. Duties include inventory control, shipping, handling, receiving, and delivery of materials, as well as inventory database management for the region.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Essential duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to those listed below:

• Manages shipping, receiving and stocking of all inventory materials needed for the ongoing operation of company.
• Supervises warehouse technicians including training, development, coaching, discipline and performance reviews
• Oversees converter room activities, if applicable, by location
• Maintains accurate records and database of inventory materials received, warehoused and dispersed.
• Completes purchase orders with approved vendors for required materials.
• Projects advance inventory requirements in conjunction with technical operations manager.
• Maintains sufficient inventory levels to meet demand while maintaining efficient inventory levels and highest possible inventory turns.
• Disperses tools and equipment to broadband technicians and maintains employee receipt records.
• Performs quarterly annual and spot audits of inventory items.
• Responsible for developing, as needed, satellite warehouse locations. Maintains accuracy and delivers materials to satellite warehouse locations.
• Maintains open and professional communication with all staff, including management, independent contractors, technical staff and office personnel.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
• This position is responsible for the supervision of warehouse technicians.

Education/Experience:

High School diploma or GED. Five to seven years warehouse or broadband industry experience with some supervisory experience preferred. Computer Skills: MSOffice software, Internet and E-mail; database and inventory software as required.

• Occasionally required to climb a ladder.
• Occasionally required to lift and carry objects up to 50 lbs and ladders up to 75 lbs.
• Occasionally required to drive a forklift.
• Required to have a valid driver's license and maintain a driving record that meets the standards of the insurance carrier.
• The employee generally works in warehouse and indoor office environments but occasionally works out of doors, in all types of weather and on uneven terrain.
• Overtime may be required.
