POSITION: WAREHOUSE OPERATIONS / MACHINE OPERATOR

$17/Hour Starting (Pay/Performance to be reviewed after 90 day probationary period)

Health Insurance/401K Is NOT Presently Available

Year 1: 2 Days Sick Pay & 1 Week Of Vacation Accrued

QUALIFICATIONS:

• GED Or Equivalent Education (May consider equivalent experience)
• Valid Driver's License
• Has Basic Computer Skills
• Knows How To Read Tape Measure / Fractions / Calculate Decimals
• Excellent customer relationship skills
• Physically able to frequently lift/move metal product weighing 50 -100 lbs
• Must Use Steel / Composite Toe Boot Protection. ($150 will be reimbursed after 90 days of employment for boot expense)

Daily Activities:

• Frequently lift/move metal product
• Safely operate forklift to move material around the Warehouse
• Assist Walk In Customers Find Metal For Their Projects
• Bandsaw Cut Metal
• Chop-Saw Cut Metal
• Panel Saw Cut Metal
• Hydraulicly Shear Metal
• Hole Punch Metal
• Count Inventory
• Clean Shop
• Provide Fabrication Assistance
• Organize Metal In Racking
• Process Shipping & Receiving Paperwork
• Loading & Unloading
• Delivering Material Using Company Vehicle
• Grease Equipment
• Perform Equipment Safety & Maintenance Inspections
• Perform other duties as requested
• Occasional Customer Service With Walk In Customers As Needed

You’ll spend the day on your feet, moving between our customer service counter, the office, and the shop floor. We need someone who understands there is ALWAYS something productive to do or improve upon. We need someone with the ability to work well under pressure, move between tasks and meet deadlines.

WORKING @ METAL SUPERMARKETS:

POSITION: Full Time

HOURS: Regular business hours Monday to Friday (8-5 Monday / Tuesday, 8-6 Wednesday, 8-6:00 Thursday, & 8-6:30 Friday) *Start Time / End Time May Vary*
