The Essential Baking Company, the northwest premier artisan organic bakery is looking for an energetic, dependable, detail oriented person to join our warehouse team. This full time position is a blend of warehouse and administrative responsibilities, and a great opportunity for someone to join our growing business.
The normal shift starts around 8:30am, but will require a flexible schedule to help as needed.

Key Responsibilities
- Hands on help distributing product to various departments
- Assist the Warehouse Assistant and Purchasing Manager with monthly inventory
- Responsible for the proper storage and inventory of product in accordance with food safety procedures
- Keep the warehouse clean, organized, and intuitive
- Complete, organize and file required paperwork
- Work on various projects as needed

Requirements:- Ability to lift 50 lbs. and use various warehouse equipment including forklift, pallet jack and hand truck
- Basic math and computer skills including email, word, excel and data entry
- Knowledge of FIFO
- Experience with Inventory
- Good written and oral communication skills with all levels of the organization
- Problem solving abilities and attention to detail
- Ability to solve and troubleshot problems using sound judgment
- Ability to work with a diverse workforce
- Energetic, results oriented team player
- Must be forklift certified
- Able to work any day of the week
