Responsibilities and Qualifications
The purpose of the Warehouse Manager is to ensure an extraordinary client experience while creating client advocates. To direct & supervise warehouse activities for the dealerships.
- When interacting with customers, seeks to deliver exceptional guest experiences by going above-and-beyond. When not interacting with guests, gives priority to helping other team members deliver exceptional guest experiences (e.g., by being highly responsive to their requests for information or assistance that will help them serve our guests).
- Treats all co-workers, customers, and vendors professionally and with respect.

- Manages team of warehouse employees and drivers and ensures all are trained to perform assigned tasks
- Directs shipping and receiving efforts to ensure timely processing
- Manages order pulling and staging.
- Maintains daily exception report for items shorted by manufacturer
- Processes all wholesale customer returns (items not needed, damaged, etc.) and issues credit accordingly, charging restock fees when necessary.
- Takes a leading role in bin organization and parts stocking.
- Assists with regular parts department inventories and selection of parts for returns.
- Initiates all paperwork relating to damages, shortages, and vendor returns.
- Participates in perpetual counts.
- Maintains department security
- Enforces safety requirements, including but not limited to, forklift training and operation, processing of MSDS sheets on all products carried and OSHA Right-to-Know.
- Takes initiative to complete tasks through innovative thinking.
- Ensures accurate and timely receipt of freight; accurately places incoming stock in the proper locations; files packing slips accordingly.
- Performs all driver dispatch functions for dealership and its delivery partners
- Monitors maintenance/repair needs for delivery vehicles and works with parts manager to ensure fleet is maintained
- Attends manufacturer or dealership training as required.
- Oversees warehouse processes start to finish: receipting morning orders, staging parts for delivery, invoicing wholesale parts orders, setting up routes for drivers and managing routes via route management software.
- Fields complaints regarding drivers and reports to parts manager for appropriate action.
- Maintains consistent contact with parts manager at home store in addition to partner stores with regards to wholesale parts deliveries to ensure customer satisfaction
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED); and 5 years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Must be at least eighteen years of age
- Must have a valid driver's license and meet company MVR policy requirements
- Must be able to pass pre-employment screenings (background and drug test)
