Key Responsibilities:
As our Warehouse Manager, you will be a pivotal part of our operations, ensuring that our life-saving products are handled with the utmost care and efficiency. Your role will include:
- Team Leadership and Development: Manage and mentor warehouse associates, ensuring safe equipment use and fostering a positive work environment.
- Operational Excellence: Establish and refine warehouse practices and protocols for maximum efficiency and productivity.
- Goal Setting: Collaborate with executive management to set realistic warehouse and team goals, aligning them with our mission and values.
- Performance Monitoring: Oversee workplace performance, leading training initiatives to enhance employee skills and productivity.
- Cross-Departmental Coordination: Liaise with other departments to ensure timely shipping of products and seamless operation.
- Logistics and Supply Chain Management: Strategically plan and manage logistics, warehouse activities, transportation, and customer services.
- Order Cycle Optimization: Direct, optimize, and coordinate the full order cycle for maximum efficiency.
- Supplier and Customer Relations: Communicate and negotiate with suppliers and customers to maintain strong partnerships.
- Inventory and Quality Management: Monitor and manage stock levels, delivery times, transportation costs, and operational efficiency.
- Warehouse Layout and Shipment Planning: Arrange the warehouse optimally and plan routes and shipments to ensure timely deliveries.
- Problem Resolution: Address and resolve any issues or complaints that arise in the warehouse operation.
Requirements:
For this vital role, we are looking for someone with:
- Leadership and Team Management: Exceptional leadership skills, including goal setting, motivation, and conflict management.
- Communication Proficiency: Effective communication skills in both written and verbal forms, including active listening.
- Strategic Planning and Problem-Solving: Strong capabilities in project management, decision-making, and strategic planning.
- Organizational Excellence: Excellent time management and organizational skills.
- Industry Knowledge: In-depth understanding of industry best practices for warehouse management.
- Technical Familiarity: Knowledge of bookkeeping, inventory control practices, logistics, and proficiency in relevant software systems.
- Physical Abilities: The physical strength, stamina, and ability to be mobile throughout the warehouse.
Qualifications:
Educational Background: High school diploma or equivalent (Required).
Experience: At least 5 years of supervisory experience and preferred warehouse experience.
