What does a Warehouse Manager do at Swire Coca-Cola?In this role you will be responsible for leading total warehouse operations. The top priorities of this role are to ensure safety, coordinating warehouse activity, service and cost efficiencies of the operations. This role requires strong people leadership capabilities to ensure optimal team performance with a keen focus on providing excellent service to our customers.
The incumbent is a role model that will champion diversity, equity and inclusion to create a positive work environment for all of our team members.Responsibilities:Assume responsibility for the effective and efficient warehouse operations.Ensure the warehouse department follows all KORE Quality/Environmental/Safety, ISO-9001, ISO-14001, OSHAS-18001, and FSSC-22000 requirements and all Federal/State laws and regulations pertaining to production.Drives continuous improvements in key areas - responsible for continual improvement of their operation and for ensuring agility to meet the changing needs of the businessEstablish and monitor the efficiency and performance of key business indicators for warehouse department.Coordinates regularly with departments to ensure that all fleet, building, and manufacturing equipment are in good operating condition and proposes future capital expenditures and packagesProvides a professional development of staff, ensures that the warehouse department is adequately staffed and trained at all timesFull responsibility for warehouse budgets, expenses and procedures.Ensures there is a diverse, equitable and inclusive work environment.Responsible for ensuring all aspects of the workplace are safe, clean and the facility is within compliance. Safety is our #1 priority.Responsible for building and maintaining a high-performing team by interviewing, hiring, and appropriately disciplining team members. Ensure that warehouse team members are appropriately trained, developed for future growth and included in key decision making.Conduct performance reviews as required.
Provide regular feedback regarding performance for development of our key associates.Ensure compliance with Company policies, safety regulations, and assures employee understanding and support of the Swire Mission Statement and Core Values.Provide leadership oversight and model positive employee relations to ensure a safe and equitable work environment.Requirements:Bachelor's degree preferred.5+ years of full-time experience in a warehouse, manufacturing site or in corporate environment.Knowledge of warehouse operations including inventory management. Understanding of ISO Management Systems for Quality, Safety and EnvironmentalKnowledge of international food safety requirementsUnderstanding of Coca-Cola KORE requirements and regulatory requirements for facilitiesStrong leadership, building teamwork, compassion and respect among peers and subordinatesUnderstanding of safety procedures and OSHA requirementsFamiliarity with plant equipment, facility, and maintenance.
