SalaryNow Hiring: Warehouse Manager
TETON Sports is looking for a full-time Warehouse Manager! We need a knowledgeable, energetic, organized, and hard-working person to manage our fulfillment, receiving and inventory teams.
We make cool outdoor gear—sleeping bags, backpacks, cots, and tents. We believe in helping everybody get outdoors and enjoy life!
Responsibilities:
o Assign roles and responsibilities for all team members and encourage success.
o Manage the inventory team and assist with inventory audits and reporting.
o Direct the fulfillment team in accurate and timely shipments.
o Develop key metrics for the Warehouse function.
o Establish best practices and protocols for an efficient warehouse.
o Regularly analyze shipping rates and services to improve margins.
o Participate in warehouse technology initiatives.
o Evaluate packaging supply needs and assist with packaging certifications.
o Oversee an inbound and outbound quality control process.
o Set goals in collaboration with direct management and other team leads.
o Monitor workplace performance and lead training initiatives to improve employees and encourage safe and appropriate use of equipment.
Qualifications:
o 2-3 Years of Warehouse Management Experience, Required
o 2-3Years of Experience Managing People, Required
o Experience with Inventory Management Software, Required
o Excellent time management, organization, and communication skills
o Exceptional leadership skills, including the ability to set goals, motivate and manage conflict
o Good project management skills, including strong decision-making, problem-solving and strategic planning abilities
o Proficient with computers, Microsoft Office suite and other computer applications
o Understanding of industry and company best practices for the warehouse
o Physical strength, stamina, and the ability to walk or stand for long periods of time
Position Details:
o On-Site Position; Salt Lake City, Utah
o Full-Time, Monday-Friday
o $60,000-$70,000 /year, depending on experience
