The Warehouse Manager is responsible for organizing the safe and efficient receipt, storage and dispatching of Petwise Products, ensuring procedures are followed to maintain optimum accuracy for all inventory.
Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problem.

Responsibilities
Ensures productivity targets are achieved and that all warehouse processes are running smoothly and promptly.
Manages warehouse to meet company objectives related to shipping and receiving, order fulfillment, and associated functions in support of sales and customer needs.
Hire employees for the operation, set motivating goals and objectives, and provide formal and informal feedback as needed to develop employees.
Ensures efficient utilization of warehouse space.
Monitors departmental efficiency and effectiveness and makes operational changes as needed to improve them.
Schedule labor and production for efficiency and cost-effectiveness
Initiates, coordinate and enforce optimal operational policies and procedures.
Adhere to all warehousing, handling and shipping legislation requirements.
Maintain the health, safety, cleanliness, and security of the building and staff.
Develop and implement processes and procedures to ensure compliance with all OSHA rules and regulations.
•Manages cycle count procedures for inventory control and reconcile with data storage system.
•Work with General Manger to prepare annual budget
•Plans work, assign tasks appropriately and appraise results.
•Produce reports and statistics regularly.
•Communicate with various, departments, to receive information, resolve questions and issues and coordinate activities
•Ensure warehouse facility is maintained in safe, clean and orderly condition
•Oversees inventories for third party logistics
•Performs other related duties as required or assigned
•Is responsible for the overall direction, coordination, and evaluation of employees
•Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws

Education and Experience
5-10 years of experience in logistics/shipping/warehouse/supervisory preferred.
Bachelor’s or master’s degree a plus
This position requires the use of Microsoft Office and SAGE Mas 500
Must be able to operate machinery such as forklift.
Work Environment
This position operates in warehouse setting and shipping area.
Travel requirements
Between 0% -10% travel to complete company training initiatives

SALARY RANGE:
The annual base salary range for this position is $50K - $55K. The actual base salary offered depends on a variety of factors, which may include, as applicable, the applicant’s qualifications for the position; years of relevant experience; specific and unique skills; level of education attained; certifications or other professional licenses held; other legitimate, non-discriminatory business factors specific to the position; and the geographic location in which the applicant lives and/or from which they will perform the job.
