- Develop and implement strategies to optimize warehouse operations and improve efficiency.
- Manage and oversee all aspects of the warehouse, including receiving, storage, and distribution of goods.
- Monitor inventory levels and ensure accurate and timely inventory control.
- Develop and maintain standard operating procedures (SOPs) for warehouse operations.
- Train, supervise, and evaluate warehouse staff, ensuring they are properly trained on safety procedures and operating equipment.
- Coordinate with other departments to ensure timely and accurate order fulfillment.
- Maintain a safe working environment, ensuring compliance with all health and safety regulations.
- Identify and implement process improvements to enhance warehouse productivity and accuracy.
- Monitor and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) to track warehouse performance.
- Resolve any issues or discrepancies related to inventory, orders, or shipments.
- Proven experience as a Warehouse Manager or similar role.
- Strong knowledge of warehouse operations and inventory management.
- Proficient in using warehouse management systems (WMS) and other relevant software.
- Excellent leadership and organizational skills.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Knowledge of health and safety regulations.
- BS/BA degree in a relevant field such as supply chain management, transportation management or business management.
- Six Sigma, Lean Manufacturing, 5S and/or Kaizen Warehouse and inventory Management Certification
