Summary of Role/Position

Monitors, repairs and adjusts facilities equipment, including but not limited to; HVAC, plumbing, electrical-lighting/ power dist., systems, powered equipment-internal combustion and electric powered material handling equipment, industrial compressors and dryers, generator/ UPS systems, Conveyance, carton erection and taping systems. Assists with maintenance of physical plant and special projects as assigned. We are currently hiring for our C2 Shift (Monday - Friday 6:00PM-2:30AM).

YOU WILL:

• Review assigned job orders on a daily basis and determines work priorities.
• Make necessary repairs, cleanings, calibrations, adjustments, inspections, diagnostics and replacements to all facilities equipment.
• Complete all assigned maintenance tasks in a timely manner and in accordance to all OEM, industry, local/ state and federal standards guidelines and recommendations.
• Perform preventative and corrective maintenance tasks in accordance to schedules and standards. Work with Supervisors/ Managers to ensure utilization of equipment and rotation schedules.
• Inspect equipment on a daily basis or as needed for conformance with operational and safety standards.
• Submit requisitions for tools, equipment, part, supplies, and contractors required to maintain equipment operations.
• The ability and desire to learn the previously mentioned systems.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

YOU MUST HAVE:

• One year certification from college or technical school/training; or three to six years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Basic reading, writing, and math.
• OSHA certified in equipment operation

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

Occasionally: activity exists up to 1/3 of the time (8 hour shift = less than 3 hours total time)

Frequently: activity exists from 1/3 of the time up to 2/3 of the time (8 hour shift = 3-5 hours total time)

Constantly: activity exists 2/3 or more of the time (8 hour shift = 5-8 hours total time)
