The Warehouse and Logistics Lead is responsible for effectively leading the warehouse and logistics functions in the warehouse department. In addition, the Warehouse and Logistics Lead must perform the following duties:
WAREHOUSE DUTIES
- Responsible for proper inventory movement and storage.
- Implement process improvements as needed.
- Responsible for checking inventoried stock upon request.
- Responsible for completion of daily inventory cycle counts.
- Key contact on all Sales/Client Care warehouse communications & inquiries
- Work with Supply Chain/ Purchasing department on shipments and P.O. processing.
- Ensure the team is following established process and procedures.
- Back up for warehouse functions.
- Organize daily team huddles
LOGISTICS DUTIES
- Responsible for domestic and international logistics and related documentation.
- Researching ideal shipping techniques, routing, and carriers.
- Negotiating contracts & rates and selecting carriers
- Planning and monitoring inbound and outgoing deliveries.
- Build/maintain relationships with transport companies and freight forwarding services.
- Effectively manage all shipping costs and materials.
- Key contact on all Sales/Client Care logistics communications & inquiries
- Stay current on international shipping/ freight forwarding policies and update SOPs as needed
- Implement forwarder strategies that increase efficiency and are cost effective.
- Build on logistical knowledge through industry forums.
Rate: $23-$26 / hour
Schedule: Monday through Friday, 6am - 3pm.
There is opportunity for overtime!

Requirements:Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED
- 3+ years of related logistics experience
- Shipping & Warehousing experience
- Negotiation skills with logistics providers a plus

- Experience working in a LEAN operation highly desirable
Physical Requirements:
Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. on a daily basis
Must be able to kneel, stoop, bend, and twist on a daily basis
Must be able to stand for an extended period of time on a daily basis
Ability to work on weekends if necessary
