Responsibilities:
- Achieve hourly performance goals on a consistent basis.
- Direct, train, and develop new and existing employees. Train material handlers in multiple types of equipment.
- Track and report on team activities, goals, and performance.
- Make decisions in line with positions responsibilities with the goal of meeting production goals.
- Communicate effectively with shift lead all performance or behavioral issues observed to be addressed.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Experience operating multiple types of material handling equipment (specifically sit-down fork trucks and/or reach trucks) in a manufacturing/warehouse environment, and training team members on this.
- Experience with RF scanners required; experienced in WMS a plus.
- Ability to work independently while informally leading others.
- Ability to lift up to 35 pounds as needed. Must have speed but also a high level of accuracy and attention to detail. Experience with power and hand tools a plus.
