Although Hajoca is a large company, we work in a decentralized environment where each of our locations, called Profit Centers (PCs), is run by the Profit Center Manager as if it were their own small business. A typical Profit Center is the heart of our business and consists of a warehouse, counter, sales office, and (sometimes) a showroom. Our PCs conduct business under unique trade names and offer a customized business approach, honoring what's special about each local marketplace.
Buttes Supply is one of those trade names and is looking for a Warehouse Employee in the Santa Rosa, CA area.

Pay for Warehouse Employee is between $30 and $40 per hour at this location with an expected shift of 6:00 AM - 3:30 PM.
About the Role:
You will:
• Be an individual contributor, spending most of your time at a customer site, while representing the company in a professional manner.
• Work alongside another experienced teammate, who will help you develop the skills needed teammate to transition into a lead role over time
• Stage products and equipment for site employees, documenting and maintaining accurate records for invoicing.
• Request requisitions to replenish inventory and recommend changes to the customer inventory levels based on usage.
• Maintain awareness of minimum/maximum reorder point/quantity and reports observations back to management.
• Assist in the inventory (cycle) counts on consigned customer sites.
• Communicate order details to a large number of technicians on a daily basis, both in-person and online, ensuring the customer is successful in their trade.
• Be responsible for counting, verifying, and receiving incoming vendor shipments and customer return material.
• Stock and maintain the warehouse; and pick, document, and pack customer orders in accordance with Company policy and procedure.
• Act with a high attention to detail to ensure the highest levels of customer satisfaction.
• Handle all shipping discrepancies per procedures or forward appropriate paperwork to designated employee to handle.
• Identify nonstock, special-order material, and damaged material and store in proper warehouse locations.
• Complete necessary documentation for customer shipments delivered via third-party carrier.
• Load and unload trucks, operate warehouse forklift and other material handling equipment safely.
• Inform immediate supervisor of stock depletions, count discrepancies, or damaged/defective/nonsaleable merchandise that could impact customer service levels.
• Ensure security and controls are in place and upheld to protect Profit Center assets.
• Maintain warehouse cleanliness, order, and safety. Remove empty cartons, metal bands, pallets, and other debris. Inform immediate supervisor of safety issues.
• Assist co-workers in servicing customers.
About You:
High school diploma or equivalent
1 year warehouse receiving and material handling experience
A proper and valid driver's license for the vehicle(s) being driven.
A driving record that meets the criteria for being an Authorized Driver in accordance with Company policy
Ability to solve problems and establish strong working relationships with teammates customers, and co-workers.
Experience in customer service and vendor managed inventory preferred
Knowledge of plumbing and/or HVAC preferred
Knowledge of products sold at the Profit Center preferred

• Be able to quickly develop comprehensive knowledge of products sold at the Profit Center.
• Possess a high level of attention to detail and accuracy.
• Be able to build and maintain a positive working relationship with customers, vendors, and co-workers.
• Know of, be able to apply and practice safety precautions in a warehouse and material handling environment.
• Be able to learn to safely operate a forklift and other material handling equipment in use at the Profit Center.
• Be able to learn and operate the computer-related systems used for warehouse operations.
• Read, write, speak, and understand English.
• Be able to add, subtract, multiply, and divide, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
