We're looking for a (high-energy individual with a strong work ethic, the work is fast paced and very physical) self-motivated individuals with an understanding of general aspects of the job. The Warehouse Associate I, will perform various manual or automated tasks necessary for the receipt, storage, and shipment of product. These may include functions of receiving, picking, packing, shipping, staging, and transporting, as well as maintaining the storage facility.

Responsibilities:

• Generates shipping reports to print pick ticket orders, labels, prioritize, assigns orders to the order pickers, load PODs and CCIs into the system.
• Pick items accurately and record goods shipped to keep track of inventory levels.
• Assist other employees lead and unload trucks.
• Moves materials within a warehouse and complete other warehouse support tasks.
• Issues an Acctivate order to request product from the 3PL when sales orders indicate the External Warehouse (EXWH)
• Generate and manage all important documents such as print pick tickets and place in trays, generate bills of ladings to distribute to the transportation companies, generate shipping labels, etc
• Coordinates and reserves truck space with local carriers and driver. Follows up with carriers if carrier does not show by the DW cut off times
• Assist Sales department and CSR with questions and inquires related to order changes, additional work, special instructions
• Back up support to the following: 1. order picker, 2. review and inspect orders, 3. dispatch drivers, 4. End of day reconciliation
• Process the inbound packages using pronto froms application and distributes the packages to the office personel
• Lift and carry a minimum of up to 25-50lbs.

The ideal candidate for this position has experience operating hand trucks, forklifts, hoists, motorized conveyors, or other material handling equipment according to safety policies and procedures. Works in a team unders the close direction of warehouse manager. Typically requires a high school diploma or equivalent. Forklift Certified Prefered. Minimum experience required of 1 year.

Pay: $17.00 - $18.00 per hour
