Join us as a Production Expeditor

In this pivotal role, the production expeditor oversees the expediting of orders and facilitate seamless communication between the production, assembly supervisors, and various departments. This requires effective collaboration with the Sourcing and Planning departments to expedite necessary parts and materials. Additionally, the Production Expeditor must continuously monitor production progress, promptly identify any potential delays, and proactively implement corrective measures to ensure timely delivery of orders.

Position Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

· Using our ERP system to track all the deadline dates for requested materials.

· Coordinate with assembly supervisors to provide dates for job, incoming materials, internal part fabrication and special requests.

· Work with sourcing, planning, and inventory departments to ensure all deadlines are met.

· Process material from inventory to production floor in a timely manner to keep jobs on track.

Position Experience and Qualifications:

· Detail-orientated.

· Excellent written and communication skills.

· Proficient of Microsoft Office and Excel.

· This position requires a high school diploma or equivalent.

· Minimum of 1-2 years of expediting experience in manufacturing environment.

· Familiar with ERP systems, preferably EPICOR.

Pay: $25.50 - $27.50 per hour

Expected hours: 40 – 45 per week
