Warehouse Distribution Associate W/Forklift Experience

WAREHOUSE DISTRIBUTION ASSOCIATE WITH FORKLIFT EXPERIENCE

We are looking to add an experienced Distribution Associate to our Team! This employee will be involved with multiple activities in the warehouse but their main focus will be on order picking. Order Picking may be done by using a Standup or Sit Down forklift or on foot pushing a cart and climbing a ladder to pick the product.

This individual must be flexible and ready to work and assist other departments as necessary. We cross train our staff to be able to move staff around depending on where the work load and priorities are. Duties may include: picking and packing, processing, load and unloading containers, labeling, using handheld RF Scanners, able to work and keep up in a fast paced environment and Multi-task. .

All of our employees are responsible for contributing to continuous improvement initiatives, performing work safely, following standard operating procedures and exceptional housekeeping. Employees are responsible for the above and the following duties:

• Receive and inspect incoming shipments including visually inspecting goods; check in and tag, verify product, and report damages to supervisor.
• Bin put away, replenishments, pick, pack and pull product
• Assist inventory with cycle counts and discrepancies
• Knowledge in Will Call / Small Freight / LTL, FTL labeling, wrapping, and shipping
• 5S, SOP, KPI knowledge is fantastic
• Oracle NetSuite experience is a plus!
• Microsoft 365 savvy especially Excel, Teams and Outlook
• and other duties as assigned

Qualifications

• Great attitude with a professional demeanor
• Valid Forklift Certified in Stand Up and Sit Down (electric)
• Distribution Center/Fulfillment Center work experience (work history must show stability in each position, not an accumulation of jobs)
• Stamina to work and keep up in a fast paced environment
• Experience with Oracle NetSuite, RF smart, and Excel
• Ability to read, communicate and understand English
• Has a safety 1st mindset
• Ability to problem solve and lift up to 50 lbs
• Detail oriented and has an eye to spot deficiencies

• Small Parcel / Will Call: 3 years

WORK ENVIRONMENT & PHYSICAL DEMANDS

• Must be able to continuously perform the essential functions of the job for an 8-hour workday; with the exception of designated meal and rest periods
• Must be able to detect signs of dangerous obstacles and hear any horns/warning devices at a distance of 30 feet
• Routine carrying and lifting of objects up to 50 lbs.
• Work involves climbing stairs, ladders, and working at heights of occasionally above 10 feet
• Work involves walking, standing, kneeling, stooping, pushing, and pulling
• Must possess the ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Must be able to maintain standing / walking position throughout the workday
• Must possess the ability to adapt to change quickly

Schedule: Monday to Friday 8:30 am - 5:00 pm plus overtime and weekends when necessary

Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
