Position Summary:

In this position, the employee will perform several different duties supporting all functions in the shipping Warehouse, focusing primarily on clerical tasks associated with orders. This position is a clerical role intended to assist with efficient management of paperwork related to the end-to-end sales ordering process. This person will be responsible for managing orders for key accounts, including but not limited to Amazon and Target. This position will report directly to the Logistics Manager and will work closely with the Warehouse Lead, the Warehouse Supervisor, and the Sales Analyst.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities:

- Manage Advanced Ship Notices (ASNs)

- Investigate and resolve all Unloading Discrepancies (UDRs) shipping issues including short-shipments, damages, mis-shipments, returned good or related product quality feedback

- EDI label processing (Electronic Data Interchange)

- Target / Wal-Mart Inventory Allocation

- Costco Tracking and Communication.

- Creating shipments and labels

- Tracking inquiries and updating tracking reports

- Make sure each order has all necessary paperwork attached in ProTrace and properly name all documentation

- Ship orders with the correct carriers as directed by Assistant Logistics Manager

- Assist with maintaining warehouse facilities (i.e. cleanup, organization)

- Forklift operation

Marginal Duties Performed Less Frequently:

- Assist with Fulfillment Department of Warehouse

- Assist with inventory control and maintenance

- Other projects assigned as necessary

Qualifications:

- Possess a positive attitude and work well with Warehouse Team

- Attention to detail and accuracy

- Experience with EDI(SPS Commerce preferred)

- Working knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel

- Proficiency with computers and inventory control systems

- Document Management – scanning, filing, tracking

Education / Experience Desired:

- 1 year warehouse experience preferred

- 1 year Data Entry experience

- Ability to operate forklift, hand truck, pallet jack and other warehouse equipment preferred

- High school diploma

Language/Mathematical/Reasoning Ability:

- Must be able to write and speak, both clearly and effectively.

- Must be comfortable working with numbers

- Must be able to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.

- Strong math skills required.

Supervision Given:

- This position will report to the Warehouse Supervisor, and Logistic Manager

- The position holder is expected to be able to work with minimal oversight at times, able to confidently handle situations on their own

Physical Demands:

- Shift length is 8-10 hours unless otherwise specified

- Standing on feet for long periods of time

- Able to lift up to 50lbs

- Able to operate in congested area

Travel Required:

Limited – May be required to travel locally on an infrequent basis.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $21.00 per hour
