The position is responsible for a wide variety of inventory related activities to ensure the accountability and overall flow of inventory into and out of the warehouse facility; Track product shipping errors, ensure inventory counts are accurate, conduct audits, review accuracy of documents related to inventory
- Daily research of Company product shipping errors for individual bottle pulls and full cases
- Utilize the Company’s technological tools to verify accuracy of inventory shipped
- Provide regular pro-active updates so management is well informed and updated regarding all open issues with inventory
- Adjust records when there are discrepancies between actual product and records
- Counting all types of products for the warehouse to ensure inventory records are accurate
- Identify and propose solutions for inventory issues and resolutions, such as out-of-stock inventory, damages, and discrepancies
- Prepare various inventory related reports
- Perform other duties as assigned by Management
- High School degree or equivalent required
- Prefer 1-3 years of inventory control experience
- Previous experience with warehouse management systems is highly preferred
- Proficient in Microsoft Office products especially Word, Excel and Outlook
- Knowledgeable of AS400 is a plus
- Strong math skills
- Ability to safely lift 40-60 lbs repeatedly
- Good verbal/written communication skills
- Experience with warehouse equipment (forklift, cherry picker, etc.) preferred
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Attention to detail and highly organized is required
- Ability to work in a fast-paced warehouse environment and handle multiple tasks at once
- Must have flexibility with schedule to work earlier or later based on business needs
