REPORTS TO: Warehouse Supervisor - Manheim
DEPARTMENT: Materials
BASIC FUNCTION:
Responsible for identification and storage of material, hoists, equipment, and parts in plant warehouse. Load and unload materials from trucks as needed. Provide production materials required to maintain daily productivity.
GENERAL JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Receive all incoming product (units) into the system.
- Move all products from the staging area into the racks.
- Make required inventory transactions.
- Pull production units/parts as required for work order.
- Maintain accurate and organized inventory within the warehouse.
- Maintain order and neatness in the warehouse.
- Exhibit interpersonal skills sufficient to perform as an active team member.
JOB QUALIFICATIONS:
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
- Safely operate material handling equipment.
- Basic communication and computer skills.
- Previous experience with reach trucks and forklift operations.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
- Ability to stand for long periods of time.
- Ability to lift up to 75 pounds.
OTHER REQUIREMENTS:
- Conduct all interactions with customers, vendors, field sales representatives, co-workers, and supervisors in a focused, positive, courteous, and respectful manner.
- Ability to read, write, speak and understand the English language.
- Regular attendance is an essential element of the job. Unplanned absences have the potential to impair the operation of the department and diminish the effectiveness of the company.
