We are inviting you to apply for our Warehouse Attendantposition. In this role, you will be responsible for Assist the Purchasing Manager in all aspects of shipping, receiving, and inventory control, and provide responsive, safe, efficient, and organized purchasing and delivery service to all food and beverage outlets, kitchens, and other Kalahari venues. This position will actively participate in a team environment and use core values and service expectations listed in the Kalahari Promise daily.
We do require that you have a background consisting of Warehouse work. General food and beverage knowledge involving at least 1 year of back of the house operations is preferred. Prior Inventory/ receiving clerk/ and/or hotel/resorts experience. Availability to work nights and weekends required. Must be at least 21 years of age.
Additional required skills include:
Must be able to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.
Must have good understanding of basic math skills.
Good verbal communication and interpersonal skills are a must.
Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other associates of the Resort.
The ability to be self-directed as you may work on your own.
Ability to operate or learn to operate material handling equipment such as hand trucks, pallet jacks, and forklifts.
KNOWLEDGE OF COMPUTER HARDWARE OR SOFTWARE: Ability to learn computer software operation, operate computer, and Phone system.
