Warehouse Associate

Job Duties

• Assist with distribution services, including receiving, shipping, and handling returned/damaged goods and administrative activities to ensure the customer requirements are met.
• Ensure all associates are trained and following all standard operating procedures.
• Enforce company safety standards and ensure that associates are complying with policies and procedures to reduce accidents and create a safe working environment.
• Achieve customer metrics to ensure performance goals are successfully met, decrease incident rates, comply with Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
• Develop a working knowledge of the Warehouse Management System and has the ability to provide front-line support of problems and issues.
• Open and/or close and secure the building as directed
• Maintain legible and accurate records or logs as required
• Review documents prepared by associates of the work group for accuracy and legibility
• Skilled at balancing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
• Communicate effectively with management about their assigned areas
• Assist with driver check-in.

Requirements

• Experience as a lead or supervisor in a warehouse environment.
• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Ability to operate powered pallet jack safely and efficiently.
• Good written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to follow work procedures and safety rules
• Computer literate with general knowledge of normally utilized software
• Ability to work a flexible schedule to meet business needs
• Bi-lingual English/Spanish a plus
