The role will be based in either the New York city or Fort Lauderdale PineBridge office locations with the expectation of a hybrid work model.
PineBridge Investments is seeking a Vice President or Senior Vice President to join the Americas Client Relations team. This individual will be a lead Institutional Client Relationship Manager responsible for a defined client book. This role requires a strong, collaborative approach with both Front-office colleagues (Business Development, Portfolio Management) as well as Internal colleagues (Client Reporting, Marketing, Performance, Compliance, Billing, Operations, and Legal). The Client Relationship Manager will partner with a Business Development colleague to establish a “Relationship Team” for each client account. Clients will be invested in traditional long-only and alternative strategies across a range of vehicles. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of the institutional asset management business and be as competent in developing client relationships as they are in navigating client service requests.
Primary Responsibilities:
  • Serve as the client’s advocate and primary point of contact within PineBridge. Maintain ongoing dialog with clients.
  • Lead the full-life cycle of client account from onboarding to service/maintenance, to account expansion to account closure.
  • Promote PineBridge Expertise with clients (product cross-sell, event attendance: conferences/ webinars).
  • Provide Relationship Team and other internal operational units with appropriate insight into client needs and business initiatives.
  • Lead and coordinate External Client Portfolio Review Meetings (monthly, quarterly) including the creation of briefing notes, presentation materials, and quarterbacking any follow-ups.
  • Lead and coordinate Internal client-matter meetings with internal colleagues/teams as needed (Business Development, Portfolio Management, Firm Leadership, Client Reporting, Marketing, Performance, Compliance, Billing, Operations, Legal).
  • Establish Account Service Level Agreements (routine client portfolio reporting & deliverables). Liaise with and establish strong relationships with internal teams to ensure SLAs are met.
  • Ensure detailed and timely responses client requests for ad-hoc deliverables (i.e.: audit confirms and due diligence questionnaires, RFPs, DDQs)
  • Raise actual and anticipated client issues/complaints.
  • Participate as appropriate in prospect meetings as led by Business Development colleagues.
  • Lead and participate in Client Relations team projects to improve internal client service procedures and ensure industry-aligned standard methodologies.
  • Assist in departmental annual & quarterly budget and client AUM forecast process.
  • Establish competency and expertise with PineBridge product offerings.
  • Monitor & follow industry leaders with vision, themes, and trends.
  • Mentor and guide junior staff.
  • Participate in firm events and activities to promote PineBridge culture and team spirit.
Qualifications:
  • Client Relationship/Client Service experience in investment management industry ideally servicing the needs of large institutional clients:
  • Vice President: 5-7 years
  • Senior Vice President: 8+ years
  • Experience with equity, fixed income strategies, and alternatives strategies
  • Knowledge of institutional and intermediary marketplace
  • Prior CRM database and Salesforce experience
  • Experience with Due Diligence Questionnaires
  • A proven track record to build and develop strong internal and external relationships
  • Highly motivated teammate with excellent presentation, writing, and oral communication skills
  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Series 7 and 63 license, CFA Designation are a plus

  • Salary Range: $175k-$190k annually + bonus + benefits
