The Intermediary Client Service Team supports our firms bespoke Separately Managed Account (SMA) business. The team serves as the main administrative contacts between our firm and key financial intermediary partners. The team supports various external separate account distribution channels across sub-advisory, dual contract, and direct client engagements.
Responsibilities:
- Partner with Intermediary Sales (National Accounts, Broker Dealer, and RIA channel) to achieve strategic firm objectives
- Manage relationships with individual Financial Advisors and Financial Advisory Teams
- Liaison with Portfolio Managers and Portfolio Management teams to ensure strategic objectives across various distribution channels are achieved
- Partner with the PM Team Traders, Compliance, Middle Office, Reconciliation, RFP Team, to facilitate client requests.
- Ensure internal policies and procedures are in line with sponsor firm guidelines
- Crucial member of the team tasked with onboarding new Intermediary relationships from contracting to implementation
- Responsible for review all new Sub-Advisory IMAs with firm legal
- Provide oversight of the teams execution of cash flow management and administrative changes
- Oversee the launch of new products across the various Intermediary platforms
- Responsible for providing key metrics to senior management
- Oversee the Intermediary billing process
- Define and establish departmental procedures
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 12 years of financial services experience preferably managing a client service team
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
- Knowledge of equity, fixed income, and derivative products offered in Separately Managed Accounts (SMA)
- Familiar with the Charles Schwab (Marketplace), Fidelity (Separate Account Network), and Pershing (Lockwood) platforms
- Ability to manage key financial partners in a professional manner
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Must be Series 7 and 66 registered
- Strong knowledge of Excel and PowerPoint
Compensation Details
The salary range for this role is $130,000-$175,000. This is the lowest to highest salary we in good faith believe we would pay for this role at the time of this posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range, and the range may be modified in the future. This range is only applicable for jobs to be performed in New York City. An employee's pay position within the salary range will be based on several factors including, but limited to, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, geographic location, performance, shift, travel requirements, sales or revenue-based metrics, any collective bargaining agreements, and business or organizational needs. This job is also eligible for a discretionary bonus.
