Description/Job Summary
Position Summary: This position is responsible for the sales management function of Treasury Management. This includes sourcing new business and servicing existing customers. This person will also have a strong working knowledge of the banks deposit, online, and mobile products with a special emphasis on all products with a commercial influence. The employee must be a self-starter, have strong communication skills, give outstanding customer service and be sales oriented.
Major Duties and Accountabilities:
- Takes part in and embraces the Legacy Culture and gives outstanding customer service to internal and external customers.
- Lead and develop the Treasury Management sales strategy to increase market penetration and maximize revenues.
- Lead the Treasury Management sales team in business development, working collaboratively with other commercial banking leaders to ensure financial results and member experience goals are achieved.
- Be proactive in customer calling efforts with bank staff, specifically commercial lenders, to assist their business customers on setup of cash management products/services and deposit accounts which best fit customer's needs.
- Monitor product vendor communications on enhancements, scheduled maintenance, added features and functionality.
- Grow, with help from department staff, the bank's portfolio of Merchant Service customers by working with loan officers and individual customers to transition their Merchant Service programs to Legacy.
- All other responsibilities as assigned.
Required Qualifications
Required:
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
- 5+ years successful sales experience.
- Previous management experience.
- 21 years of age.
Preferred Qualifications
Preferred:
- Bachelor's degree in marketing, finance, accounting, or related area.
- Previous Treasury Management and/or banking experience.
