Our client is seeking an applicant who for this role should focus on developing best practices in accordance with Freddie Mac guidelines and enable the firm to bring servicing in-house by the up-payment module, collections, and monitoring in compliance with Freddie Mac standards. This should be more tailored to finding someone capable of building a Freddie Mac servicing platform from the ground up. Working with IT and existing operations to build out functionality systems and processes needed to take this in-house.
Serve as the Company's main point of contact for all internal and external servicing needs
Coordinate with IT to set KPI tracking and set exception reporting for ongoing service issues
Track Key Performance Indicators for servicing partners
Ensuring that collection activities are managed efficiently in accordance with servicing agreements for loans
Coordinate and manage day-to-day interaction with The Co.'s servicing partner

Work alongside The Co's accounting and operations teams to oversee collections and disbursements
Ensure that reporting logistics of cash flows are streamlined between servicers, trustees, and financing counterparties-both new and existing
Responsible for review and monitoring of daily servicing activity reports to ensure accuracy and resolve any discrepancies. Provides for preparation of needed reports
Responsible for data being received/given to servicing partners
Coordinate transfers, tracking and reviewing onboarding for accuracy (balances, servicing pricing, investor numbers, etc.)
Collaborate with key stakeholders and IT to improve automation and tracking of servicing processes and data capture
As necessary, support the Capital Markets and Loan Operations teams in the establishment of deposit accounts at designated financial institutions
Maintain relationships and interface directly with all internal and external servicing and financing stakeholders
Support and facilitate the company's growth by identifying and developing process efficiencies
Analyze month-end balances, and provide variance explanations for MTM changes
Responsible for servicing operations, management, process improvement, quality control and metric development
Ensuring that collection activities are managed efficiently in accordance with servicing agreements for loans
Responsible for the completion and accuracy of the Loan Servicing Policies and Procedures Manual
Bachelor's degree in finance, Business or Accounting
7+ years of working experience at a Servicer, Investment Bank, Private Equity Firm, Hedge Fund, Accounting, Market Analytics firm, or related experience
Knowledge of structured products, commercial mortgage loans, and other fixed-income instruments
Quantitative skills and demonstrated analytical /problem-solving ability
Strong Excel skills required
Familiarity working with and reading legal documents with counterparties/servicers a plus;
Hard-working, results and detail-oriented
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, rapidly changing work environment with many competing priorities
Strong interpersonal and excellent verbal and written communication skills
Self-starter with the ability to multi-task and drive projects to completion
Organized team player with the ability to build strong cross-business relationships
