Job Overview
As our VP Sales & Marketing North America, you will provide leadership and coordination of company Sales & Marketing functions for the North American region. You will develop our various distribution channels, provide market feedback to our engineering and supply chain teams regarding product needs and partner with the After Sales team to optimize services to create sales opportunities. You will develop our ecosystem of auxiliary services that benefit the buyers of our products which includes leasing, financing, truck body building, charging infrastructure, grant & incentive management etc.
You will monitor, analyze, and adjust our sales and marketing activities against company goals and keep up to date on industry and relevant legislative trends.
Essential Job Duties include
- Direct and coordinate company sales and marketing functions.
- Develop and coordinate the various sales channels.
- Research and develop strategies and plans which identify new market opportunities.
- Analyze and evaluate the effectiveness of sales, methods, costs, and results.
- Develop and manage sales and marketing budgets and oversee the development and management of internal operating budgets.
- Directly manage major and critical developing client accounts and coordinate the management of all other accounts.
- Participate in the development of our product plans.
- Establish and implement short- and long-range goals, objectives, policies, and operating procedures.
- Supervise the planning and development of company marketing and communications materials.
- Represent the company at various industry and/or business meetings to promote the company.
- Supervise the preparation, issuance, and delivery of sales materials, exhibits, and promotion programs.
- Promote positive relations with partners, vendors, and distributors.
- Work with your department and corporate staff to develop long range business plans for the company.
- Serve on planning and policy-making committees.
- Train, supervise, and evaluate departmental staff.
- Share your best practices with your sales colleagues in other global regions.
- Other duties as assigned.
Knowledge and skill requirements
- Experience in strategic planning and execution. Knowledge of contracting, negotiating, and change management. Knowledge of structuring sales quota goals and revenue expectations. Experience in planning marketing strategies, advertising campaigns, and successful public relations efforts.
- Work requires professional written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to motivate teams to produce quality materials within tight timeframes and simultaneously manage several projects. Ability to participate in and facilitate group meetings.
- 10+ years of experience in a senior-level sales and marketing position in the commercial truck industry.
Work environment
- Requires willingness to work a flexible schedule and includes regular travel.
Salary Range
Based on experience and skillset; $250,000 - $350,000 base salary with up to 30% annual variable salary.
