Your objective:
Play a cornerstone role in D.Luxury's mission to unlock the potential of our portfolio companies by developing and executing innovative marketing programs which outperform the market and brand expectations. As VP Marketing, you will partner with portfolio brands, working as an extension of their team managing digital marketing and e-commerce.
Your role within the D.Luxury team:
- You will be the “owner” of several D.Luxury brands growth strategies and execution management. Building strategy, developing the plan, and executing with the support of the various teams to obtain the outcomes.
- Overall management of the partnership with several portfolio businesses including:
- Running daily, weekly, monthly, and quarterly calls and meetings
- Setting and managing brand expectations
- Offering/managing the scope of services and support D.Luxury provides
- Overseeing regular reporting (weekly, Monthly, qtrly)
- Consult, orchestrate and present a strategic vision for specific portfolio brands
- Lead the growth marketing strategy and oversee the development and execution of Marketing budgets & calendars for each brand you own.
- Work directly with external and internal partner agencies and service providers to drive performance of some or all of the following functions:
- Strong creative campaigns, while ensuring all assets align with overall brand guidelines
- Paid / performance & other media execution
- Retention management – email, SMS, loyalty.
- BI/analytics to derive insights and planning
- Site / UX development
- Inventory planning/merchandising
- Leverage multiple platforms and analytical tools to identify and address critical issues & opportunities including those related to consumer targeting, marketing mix, and product portfolio analysis
- Partner closely cross-functionally, both internally and externally, to ensure marketing programs and execution are helping to meet or exceed KPI's; driving company revenue & profitability
- You will support the D.Luxury business by contributing at a senior executive level with input on other brands in the D.Luxury portfolio, and input on making D.Luxury the very best it can be.
- Generate innovative ideas for new media or business trends for each brand thereby powering communication flows, ad campaigns, eComm design, and merchandising.
Qualifications:
Ideal candidates will have direct growth marketing experience within fast-growing startup consumer, e-commerce, and subscription brands. Has directly managed agency partners and has a strong track record of delivering impactful campaigns, on budget, and surpassing KPIs. Strong strategic, analytical, and project management skills with attention to detail are a requirement. Having worked on a digitally native brand (DTC) is a plus.
- BA or MBA with an emphasis in Marketing
- 8+ years' brand experience in the consumer goods industry required - applicants who have not led marketing/e-commerce efforts for a DTC brand will not be considered.
- 6+ years B2C & DTC growth/performance marketing experience
- Previous experience is required in the development and management of short and long-term marketing plans, operating budgets, and analysis
- Working DTC growth & performance marketing experience as well as omni-channel retail development. Experienced at managing 360-campaigns
- A go-getter with a strong work ethic, entrepreneurial spirit, and passion for cutting edge marketing
- Strong presentation and analytical skills
