Does this sound like you? nTop is hiring a VP, Finance to help lead our Finance/ Accounting org.
This role is in office or hybrid based in New York City and reports to the CEO.
What You'll Do:
- Lead all financial planning, business analysis and forecasting for the company with support from the current accounting team
- Manage the company's operating budget, providing visibility and accountability to executives on their department's monthly, quarterly and annual spend in a timely manner
- Report and operationalize financial metrics monthly to drive effective business decisions across the executive team
- Create and present reports to Board of Directors and provide analysis and commentary on business performance and future recommendations quarterly
- Understand current investor relations and reporting needs to support preparation of board materials and/or fundraising activities
- Establish and maintain relationships with external vendors, and negotiate pricing/spend as needed
- Oversee treasury function and maintain banking relationships
- Support essential decisions through ad-hoc analyses (e.g., departmental P&Ls, headcount planning, market studies, ROI)
- Oversee all audits, ensuring all regulatory requirements are fulfilled
Desired Experience:
- 10+ years of finance experience with hands-on experience in FP&A, accounting, and business operations in a fast moving environment
- 5+ yrs experience in enterprise Saas startups, including but not limited to managing a multimillion dollar budget, architecting compensation plans, M&A/ IPO, due diligence, and reporting
- Experience scaling startups to $50M+ in revenue, as well as familiarity with working with founders and a board of directors/VC
- Expert-level financial management & reporting skills, and are comfortable with managing a multi million dollar budget
- Familiarity with managing high-performing finance teams and drive initiatives in a cross-functional environment
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced startup environment: comfortable balancing between strategy and tactical initiatives
- Strong cross-collaborative project management skills
- Detail oriented with strong organization, time management, follow through, and analytical skills
- Must have strong written and verbal communication skills, and be able to collaborate with coworkers across all levels of the business
- Must have strong analytical skills, capable of leading and managing an array of initiatives from project initiation to final presentation
