The selected colleague will work at an MUFG office or client sites four days per week and work remotely one day. A member of our recruitment team will provide more details.Position Summary:
Credit Analyst for the Loan Trading Desk. Will be responsible for tracking performance of loans traded by the desk, generate trading ideas from the long / short side, work with the Desk to manage risk / positioning. The Loan Analyst will bring / develop buyside client relationships to further idea generation / desk pnl etc.
Responsibilities:
- Provide fundamental analysis of loans the Desk trades.
- Manage Desk access to loan sites / work with TA, back office to get access to loan specific information.
- Generate trade ideas from both the long and short side, while working with trading to determine appropriate risk sizing / entry / exit points.
- Liaise with Sales and their client coverage to deepen desk relationships, uncover trading ideas and themes across the market.. Bring / develop their own client relationships.
- Perform ad hoc analysis / presentations etc. required by management of the Loan Trading business.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree
- Prior loan specific experience preferred, leveraged finance (HY) market experience required.
- Minimum 2 years of relevant experience
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Results driven, with a strong sense of accountability
- Strong decision making skills, the ability to demonstrate sound judgment
- A pro-active, motivated approach
The typical base pay range for this role is between $200K - $240K depending on job-related knowledge, skills, experience and location. This role may also be eligible for certain discretionary performance-based bonus and/or incentive compensation.
